What is a watermark? How to enable and customize it?
DocullyVDR offers watermarking to enhance security when sharing your documents.
Watermarks are only applied to non-administrators in a data room. On the platform viewer and on download the watermark is applied on the pdf, ppt, and doc format files. Rest of the file formats do not capture the watermark.
Here are instructions for best utilizing the watermarking feature:
How to enable watermarking for an End User group:
Navigate to the User & Permissions module in your Data Room.
Click on Manage Permissions (✓) icon of the desired EU group
On the right side of the screen find the modules permissions column
By default the Watermarking is disabled for all the EU groups. You can enable the same just by a click on the toggle
How to Manage and customize watermark on the Data Room?
Navigate to the Overview module
Click on the Settings Tab
Click on Watermark Settings
On the right side panel you have options to customize the Opacity, Rotation, Font Size, Position, and the content to be captured on the watermarking.
